Sargento Dan
Sargento Dan, originally from northern Mexico, discovered his passion for performing at a young age, with his first stage experience coming from a kindergarten singing contest. In 2012, he relocated to Jalisco, initially moving to Guadalajara and later to Puerto Vallarta. By 14, he was captivated by Broadway, a fascination that shaped his career. His teenage years were filled with musical theater, where he took part in school productions such as "The Lion King," "Aladdin," "Que Plantón," "The Fantastiks," and more!
Sargento Dan first showcased his talent in Puerto Vallarta during the preliminary auditions of the RISE talent competition held at Nacho Daddy. The RISE finale took place at Teatro Vallarta, where he became the first runner-up, marking a significant milestone in his career. This achievement opened numerous doors and propelled him to pursue further opportunities.
He is now renowned for his Sargento Broadway Sing-Along at Garbo’s Piano Bar in Puerto Vallarta, his one man show "the MEN-TI-RAS Experience", and collaborations with Amy Armstrong, Mark Hartman, and Gouda Gabor.
Praised for his exaggerated, humorous, and heartfelt performances, Sargento captivates audiences with his ability to blend humor and emotional depth in both English and Spanish. He is supported by coaches Jan Dorland and Rob Burton.
