Latin Fest: Diversity Week is bringing several major LGBTQ+ entertainers to Puerto Vallarta, with the biggest attraction being RuPaul's Drag Race stars Manila Luzon and Latrice Royale, who will perform Thursday, July 30 at 6:00 p.m. on the free main stage in the Romantic Zone (Av. Ignacio L. Vallarta and Lázaro Cárdenas).
Although organizers had previously announced a premiere of RuPaul's Drag Race México: Latina Royale, city officials have confirmed that no premiere or screening will take place during the festival.
Thursday's entertainment also includes performances by Moxxila, Gala Altamar (a special presentation of Mentiras El Musical), María Daniela y su Sonido Lasser, and an evening concert featuring Taiga Brava, Mariana Bo, and Christian Chávez, with Raquel Martínez serving as host.
Friday's schedule features community events, including Voices of Pride, an awards ceremony recognizing LGBTQ+ activists in four categories. Four honorees will each receive a 50,000-peso stipend to support their ongoing community work.
On Saturday, festival activities continue with a beach and pool party at Mantamar featuring DJ Deanne, along with additional events at PlayRoom.
The festival will also debut a dramatic new lighting installation at the Los Muertos Pier, featuring approximately 30,000 programmable RGB LEDs and several illuminated public art displays that will transform the waterfront throughout the event.
All official Latin Fest events are free to attend, with the exception of the Mantamar pool party, which requires the venue's regular cover charge.
