Joi's influence extends into television, with appearances on OWN's Ready to Love and Love & Marriage: DC, where audiences connected with her authenticity, resilience, and vibrant spirit. In Puerto Vallarta, she graced the stage at ACT2PV, captivating audiences as The Original Mistress in It's Raining Men, the sexy and sultry production envisioned by Danny Minini and choreographed by Edgar Román. She also showcased her dynamic range in the Motown Classic Revue alongside the talented Kevin Anthony and Lauren Jade. Now returning to Puerto Vallarta, Joi continues to build community through music as a curator for Sofar Sounds Puerto Vallarta and as a featured performer for Soulful Thursdays at La Catrina Cantina.
