What do Pi, a shamrock and a bird have in common? They are all part of our musical week! Pi – March 14 is international Pi day. Pi (Greek letter “π”) is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant — the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — which is approximately 3.14159, celebrated on March 14 (3/14). March 14 is the day Salty Paw Jazz Orchestra will play a free concert at the Marina Market in front of Frankie’s Spaghetti House, from 6:30 – 8:30 PM.
