“Raining Under the Sun” Mural Celebration

Puerto Vallarta friends, we invite you to join us on the Isla Cuale for the grand unveiling celebration of Dauna Noble’s latest mural “Raining Under the Sun” – a tribute to Curro Prados Ascensio.

The mural is on Las Brazza’s, directly in front of El Centro Cultural Vallarta. Curro was the 13 year old boy who died when his building collapsed into the river during hurricane Nora. His mother Arrancha and I worked together to create a beautiful composition that honors Curro’s life on the island and all his favorite earthly memories. “I said it would take 3 weeks… 3 months later.. it is complete, in all its glory. Those of you who know me, know that I have dedicated blood, sweat, and many tears into this project, with a downright dogged determination that surpassed the many challenges of my personal life in these months.”
