Pride Flag Raising Ceremony
The official Pride Flag Raising Ceremony in Puerto Vallarta takes place on the balcony of the Palacio Municipal, or City Hall, in downtown Puerto Vallarta. Ceremonies are also held simultaneously in several key locations across the city.
These locations include Unidad Municipal Administrativa, Parque Lázaro Cárdenas in the Romantic Zone, Parque Hidalgo, and Plaza de la Delegación El Pitillal. The coordinated events create a citywide celebration that marks the beginning of Pride festivities.
The simultaneous flag raisings officially kick off the annual Pride week and commemorate the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia. Residents, visitors, community leaders, and activists gather together to celebrate inclusion, equality, visibility, diversity, respect, and community pride throughout the festive season.
We list event details as provided by the promoters (dates, times, prices, and descriptions), but things can change. Please double-check all information with the event organizer before making plans—we can't guarantee everything is always up to date.
