Helping Our Friend Manuel (Fundraiser and Open Mic)

Our dear friend and beloved bartender, Manuel Franco, is very ill and currently hospitalized. He has been out of work for two weeks and is expected to be unable to return for at least two more. Manuel is battling a severe flu, and his lungs are filled with fluid. His condition is serious, and remaining in the hospital is essential for his recovery.

While La Catrina provides IMSS insurance and will continue to pay his salary, the majority of Manuel’s income comes from the tips he earns from his customers. To help support him during this difficult time, we are hosting a fundraiser this Sunday at 9:00 pm during our Open Mic Night.

We invite all artists and friends who wish to show their support to come and sing for Manuel. The event will be live streamed on Facebook so he can watch from his hospital bed. Donations can be made at the event.

Let’s come together and show Manuel how Vallarta takes care of its own. See you Sunday!
