Why the Gardens make for a great family day out βοΈ
Vallarta Botanical Gardens sit just 40 minutes south of Puerto Vallarta, tucked into the jungle along the Los Horcones River β and there's plenty to explore beyond the butterflies. Wander shaded trails through one of Mexico's top orchid collections, keep an eye out for some of the 130 or so bird species that call the Gardens home, and treat yourself to lunch overlooking the river at the Hacienda de Oro restaurant. It's a full day out, at a gentle pace, for every generation of the family β and every visit helps support the Garden's conservation and education work protecting the wild biodiversity of this corner of Jalisco.
Come experience the magic of butterflies at the Vallarta Botanical Gardens!
